I know it can be quite overwhelming trying to find the right counselor for some of the rockier parts of life. I have included information about  myself to help you get to know me a little better. I would love the opportunity to talk on the phone and set up and appointment so we can discover how counseling can help you. Call me at (407) 247-5733 or email me here.

I am a native of Orlando, Florida and a graduate of Boone High School. I completed my BSW in social work at the University of Central Florida in 1986. Upon graduation, I worked in the field of addictions in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

When my husband and I had our first child, we made the decision that I would devote my time and energy to raising a family. After twenty rewarding and fulfilling years, I felt God calling me to use my passion, my gifts, and my life experience to serve others in a counseling environment.

As my children began to head off to college, I reentered the academic world and earned my Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University.  I gained experience working in non-profit settings providing individual and group counseling to adults and adolescents with a variety of issues.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and I maintain a private practice in the Baldwin Park area of Orlando.  I am privileged to be a part of the Coalition of Christian Counselors at First Presbyterian Church of Orlando where I am a life long, active member.

I bring to my work 45 years of life experience. My husband and I have been married for 22 years and we have three young adult children who bring us great joy (most days)! I am committed to using all that God has given me to help others live lives that are rich, joyful, and glorify Him!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, #MH10474, through the Florida Department of Health. You may verify my license here.
