I have included some commonly asked questions about counseling and my private practice. If you have further questions, please call me at (407) 247-5733 or contact me here.

  • Are you accepting new clients? Yes! I am accepting new clients into my practice at this time.
  • How long does it take to get an appointment? Typically I can see new clients within 1 week.
  • What can I expect for our first appointment? Prior to our appointment, I will email you the paperwork or you can fill it out electronically through my website. When you arrive to my office, please help yourself to some tea or soda in the waiting area. I will come out to get you at your scheduled appointment time. Our first session will be an opportunity for you to get to know me better as a counselor and for you to talk more about what is bringing you to counseling.
  • How long are the sessions? Each session is 50 minutes long. I do offer longer sessions if needed. Please contact me about this option.
  • How often will we meet? Ideally, I meet with clients weekly. Sometimes clients will want to meet more frequently for more intensive work. Sessions can be also be on a bi-weekly basis if there are financial constraints.
  • Who do you see in your practice?I work with individuals, couples and families, seeing both adults and adolescents. Most of my clients are successful and intelligent and want to get the most out of life.
  • What forms of payment do you accept? I accept cash, check and credit card. If you wish to pay with a credit card, please do so before the session here.
  • Do you accept insurance? I am an out of network provider. I am happy to provide a super bill to my clients so they can submit the paperwork to their insurance for reimbursement. I find that insurance can dictate the length of treatment and the types of treatment. They often require a diagnosis for payment, which isn't always appropriate for my clients. By me not taking insurance directly, your privacy is increased and you have more of a choice in your counseling process.
  • What if I am still not sure if counseling is right for me? That is ok! I offer a consultation prior to an appointment so you can see if I am the right fit for you.
